One Novel, 30 Days, No Problem
I did it. Yep. 50,565 words of novel. 169 pages. Countless deaths. Revenge. Robots. Dragons. Mages. Guns. Drugs. Torture. Grenades. A Distopic Society. Even a love story. And of course one nuclear explosion.

What else could a novel want? Ok, so there are no pirates. Boo. I know. There are smugglers, who are kind of like pirates. Right?

Tomorrow I give it to the guy at work who bet me 20 bucks I couldn't finish. He's said he'll edit it, as did my mother. If anyone else wants to read the most fun but most terrible thing I've ever written and give me feedback for expanding it or whatever, let me know. I imagine a few copies will circulate.

And yeah, I'm pretty damned proud of myself. I know this is just a first, worst, rough draft. But I have 50k words of a story.

And I'm already outlining a sequel of sorts.

Be afraid. Now I know it can be done, there might be no stopping me. Maybe Salad's mom was right. Maybe I just needed to write one and it would free the beast.

And I'm done in time for jeprody. Yeah.
